(MT. CARMEL) The Mt. Carmel High School Athletic Hall of Fame, created by the Mt. Carmel Sports Boosters, is set for its second annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Friday, October 6th at halftime of the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces Football game vs. Casey Westfield which kicks off at 7 p.m.
This year’s class of inductees include the state runner-up 1957 baseball team, legendary head football coach Jim John, state champion golf head coach John White, wrestling state champion and football standout Tanner Crum, (Class of 2011), football great Luke Drone (Class of 2003), and basketball legend Craig Snow (Class of 1997).
Those being recognized during halftime are asked to be at the north endzone with 5 minutes remaining before halftime.
While the committee has been able to reach out to the individuals (and their families) about their induction – it is still in need of assistance in reaching those affiliated with the 1957 MCHS Baseball team (see photo).
If you are planning on attending the ceremony to be recognized, or if you can help us identify members (or family members) of the 1957 Aces baseball team, please email that information (or your RSVP) to committee member Kyle Peach at peach.kyle@gmail.com
Limited handicap parking may also be available for inductees at the game that evening. If you are being recognized and are in need of handicapped parking, please also email Kyle Peach at peach.kyle@gmail.com with that request.
