It doesn’t look like the Golden Aces football team will make their debut on the new Riverview Stadium turf field on Friday night, August 26th after all. On yesterday’s WSJD Morning Show, District #348 superintendent Dr. Chuck Bleyer said while the playing surface is finished, other aspects of the stadium aren’t done and may not be done before the first game. And that delay is looking to force a schedule change…
Work on the stadium seating area will also need to be finished before the first game against Marshall.
