Yellow Jackets Fall To Red Hill

On Tuesday, September 3rd, Yellow Jackets baseball traveled to Red Hill for non-conference action. Red Hill led after one inning 1-0, then extended their lead in the second inning to 3-0. After three innings, Red Hill led 7-0 and had their biggest inning in the fourth going up 12-0. In the top of the fifth inning, the Yellow Jackets scored twice to make the final score 12-2. Offensively for the Yellow Jackets: Brendan Bowser had a walk and scored a run; Rhett Andrews had a single, a walk, and a run scored; Chase Gher had three singles on the day and an RBI; Michael Medler had a walk; and Trenton Potts had a walk. Pitching for the Yellow Jackets: Brendan Bowser went 3 innings, gave up 7 runs, 5 hits, 5 walks, and had 8 strikeouts. Chase Gher pitched one inning, gave up 5 runs, 4 hits, 1 walk, and had 2 strikeouts. The Yellow Jackets are now 0-5 on the season.
