Faith Fuller pitched a complete game 4 hitter. She gave up 2 earned runs and struck out 5.
Kami Pearson was 2-3 with a double.
Addie Drone was 1-3.
Sierra Hannah was 1-2 with an RBI.
Stormie Devine was 1-3 with a double, 2 RBI and scored a run.
Avary Daum was 1-3 with an RBI.
Lexi Ballard and Olivia Stinson each scored 1 run.
The Lady Aces trailed 2-1 with 2 outs and nobody on in the 6th inning. Lexi Ballard was hit by a pitch, Kami Pearson singled, and Stormie Devine hit a 2 out double to take the lead 3-2. Avary Daum then added some insurance with a 2 out, RBI single to put the Aces up 4-2.
They Lady Aces also won the JV game 14-13 after trailing by 4 going into the final inning.
“I’m very proud of how this young group has battled in a couple of close wins early this season. We are a team with no seniors, but we have some great junior leaders, 2 awesome sophomores and an exciting group of freshmen. You look up and down our lineup and every single girl is helping us out in one way or another. This group has a very bright future.”
