Warriors Back In Action Tonight

It is back to the hardwood for the Wabash Valley College Warrior basketball team Wednesday evening when they host Three Rivers Community College from Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Tipoff is set for 7:30. Both the Lady Warriors and Warriors will be back in Great Rivers Athletic Conference action on Saturday when they will travel to Rend Lake College for afternoon games.

Three Rivers comes in with a 6-6 record on the season. Their last game was against John Logan that they lost at home 95 to 81. The Raiders have lost twice to Logan this year. They are a young team but it is built around their three key sophomores. Aidan Saunders a 6-4 guard leads the team in scoring with 17.1 ppg and 6.4 rebounds. Jeffery Porter is a six foot guard who scores 11.9 ppg and 5.9 rebounds. Post player Ludy Kayouloud from Paris France is teams leading rebounder with 7.9 a game.

WVC comes into the game with a 7-5 record and on a three game win streak. Sophomore Austin Trice averages 14.3 ppg and also in rebounds with 12 a game. Tyressee Williford averages 13.1 ppg and Marcus Garrett is at 11.7 ppg. The Warriors are averaging 90.5 ppg and allowing their opponents only 72.8 ppg
