Wabash County Health Department, located at 130 W. 7th Street, has long served Wabash and surrounding counties with high quality health, wellness, and environmental services. WCHD is committed to meeting the needs of our community by offering a wide range of programs and supports to community members of all ages which include immunizations, WIC, Reproductive Health and Wellness, Infectious Disease Surveillance, Family Case Management, Breastfeeding Support, Overdose Prevention Program, Public Health Emergency Preparedness, All Our Kids Network, and Environmental Health Services. In addition, Wabash County Health Department in collaboration with Wabash General Hospital formed the Wabash Community Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center, in which the behavioral health division of WCHD is located. Behavioral health services include individual/group substance abuse, mental health counseling, and D.U.I. Evaluations/Risk Reduction Classes.
