On August 23, 2026, at 4:24 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 report of an accident involving a motorcycle on County Road 350 South near County Road 100 East. Upon arriving Deputy Wes Baumgart spoke with the driver of the Green 2023 Kawasaki KL6, Kody Scott age 34 of Princeton. While investigating the accident Deputy Baumgart detected the odor of alcohol coming from Mr. Scott and began a roadside DUI investigation. Once the investigation was completed Mr. Scott was transported to Deaconess Gibson for medical clearance and then to the Gibson County Detention Center where he was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.
Deputies Eric Powell and Wyatt Hunt assisted Deputy Baumgart in his investigation.
