On June 28, 2026, at 10:39 P.M. Oakland City Officer Michael McGregor attempted to stop a Burgandy Toyota Tacoma on State Road 64 near the high water at the county line. The vehicle fled into the water. However, Deputy Eric Powell had made his way around the high water prior to this interaction to check the barricades and high-water signs on the Pike County Side.
