Bunting said the road district had roughly $14,000 before receiving property tax distributions last month and this month. Plus, Bunting said the road district could have up to $400,000 available in motor fuel tax funds. According to the public notice for Thursday’s hearing, the purpose is to hear complaints about the alleged willful and wanton failure to repair and maintain roads within the district. The next road district commissioner election is in April of next year.
