On 12/10/24, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Francisco M. Gutierrez, age 39, of Albion on a Wabash County Failure to Appear Warrant along with additional charges of Unlawful Use of Weapon and No Valid Driver’s License. Gutierrez’s arrest stemmed from a traffic stop on a 2004 maroon GMC in the 400 block of West 9th Street for a violation of the Illinois Vehicle Code. During the stop, the arresting officer learned of Gutierrez’s warrant at which time he was taken into custody. Additionally, officers found brass knuckles in the vehicle and that he failed to possess a valid driver’s license. Gutierrez was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was issued the above charges and warrant and held on a $200 cash bond as stated on the warrant.
