ALL POLITICAL SIGNS SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM CITY AND STATE RIGHTS OF WAY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THAT REQUEST WAS MADE BY MAYOR JOE JUDGE TUESDAY NIGHT. THOSE SIGNS CAN EASILY INTERFERE WITH MT. CARMEL’S LEAF PICKUP PROGRAM. PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR MIKE GIDCUMB SAID CREWS HAVE MADE TRIAL RUNS WITH THE LEAF REMOVAL EQUIPMENT AND THE PLAN IS TO BEGIN RESIDENTIAL PICKUP NEXT WEEK.
