Southern Illinois Man Sentenced To 10 Years In Prison On Wabash Co. Burglary Charge

A 42 year old Christopher, Illinois man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison following his residential burglary conviction. State’s attorney Kelli Storckman reports that  Anthony Tucker was charged last August 8th with residential burglary after a large amount of cash and coins had been stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of West 5th Street. He was arrested after  being spotted at McDonald’s and running from police. Tucker was eventually taken into custody in the area of 8th and Chestnut after being Tased. Storkcman said Tucker faces similar charges in Franklin and Jefferson Counties. His Co-Defendant, Addasyn Wallbaum, received a 5-year sentence for her part in the crime earlier this year.
