Bids to replace the roof at Mt. Carmel’s fire department are under review at City Hall. Two bids were received, one from David Brown Construction for $39,600 and the other from Sharp Solutions for $35,650. Mayor Joe Judge said the bids are being reviewed to ensure they meet the requirements for the work. The bid is expected to be awarded at this afternoon’s City Council meeting, which is a day later than normal due to the Memorial Day holiday yesterday.
