WCHD Celebrates End Of Public Health Emergency Declaration

GOVERNOR J-B PRITZKER IS DECLARING TODAY (THURSDAY) ILLINOIS PUBLIC HEALTH AND HEALTH CARE HERO DAY. THE DESIGNATION HONORS THE MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS WHO WORKED LONG HOURS AND RISKED THEIR OWN HEALTH TO CARE FOR OTHERS DURING THE PANDEMIC SAYS THE GOVERNOR.

PRITZKER SAYS WE OWE HEALTH CARE WORKERS OUR EVERLASTING RESPECT AND GRATITUDE AND THAT SO MANY OF US OWE THEM OUR LIVES.
