City Offering Website Option To Complete Lead Water Line Survey

City officials have come up with a way to stream line the lead water line survey that is set to take place this summer. Mayor Joe Judge had previously announced that the state EPA is mandating all communities conduct a survey to determine the presence of the lead lines. The city has received a $40,000 grant to help pay for individual to visit every residence and business in town this summer to complete the survey. But now, Judge said there’s a way to avoid having someone coming to your door asking about water lines. A short survey has been set up on the city’s website that you can complete that will help the city meet the state mandate…

Judge has said the survey of 3,000 water lines in Mt. Carmel must be completed by June of next year.
