On 12/11/23, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Austin M. Knust, age 25, of Mt. Carmel on a Wabash County Warrant for Failure to Appear. An officer on patrol observed Knust standing in the doorway of a residence in the 500 block of W 2nd Street and knew there was a warrant for his arrest. The officer made contact with Knust and placed him under arrest. Knust was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was issued the warrant and held on a $200 cash bond.
