On August 6, 2021, at 3 p.m. Gibson County Deputies Zach Lienemann and Brian Naas went to Windsor Machine located at 908 West Gach Road in Princeton to serve a Level 5 Felony arrest warrant on 43-year-old Eric Whitehead of Fort Branch. Upon arriving at the business deputies spoke with company representatives and attempted to apprehend Mr. Whitehead without incident. However, Mr. Whitehead attempted to flee the business before deputies located him. Upon locating Mr. Whitehead he began to physically fight officers in an attempt to escape. Deputy Lienemann delivered a drive stun with his Taser and Mr. Whitehead was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Whitehead was charged with Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, Resisting Law Enforcement, and the Level 5 Felony Warrant for Battery With Injury on a Child Less than 14 years of age. He remains in custody on a $2,000 bond.
