Kentucky man arrested on DUI charge

On May 13th, 2021 at approximately 3:18 a.m. the Gibson County Sheriff`s Office received a 911 call stating there was a White Chevy Pickup with a partial plate of 513 traveling North on US 41 all over the road and at times traveling North in the Southbound lanes. The caller stated the vehicle was still Northbound from the area of the truck stops. Sgt. John Fischer was in the area and started South on US 41 and located the vehicle near Tri-State Speedway. Sgt. The driver finally stopped and was arrested for Resisting Law Enforcement and Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated (Refusal). The driver was identified as William S. Booker, age 42 of Owensboro Kentucky. Mr. Booker was booked into the Gibson County Sheriff`s Office without incident. Assisting Sgt. Fischer was Owensville Town Marshal Rodger Leister and Deputy Bryce Jutzi with the Gibson County Sheriff`s Office.
