On 11/16/21, Mt. Carmel Police Department arrested Zelbert M. Sutton, age 58, of Mt. Carmel, for Domestic Battery following an incident at a residence in the 200 block of McDowell St. Upon arrival, officers found evidence to indicate Sutton had battered a family member during a dispute. Sutton was placed under arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged and held pending a bond setting by a judge.
