The Mt. Carmel City Council met in regular session Monday evening and it was the first meeting held in the renovated portion of City Hall at 631 Market Street. Council meetings have been held in the lobby of City Hall since the pandemic began in March and the subsequent renovation started. City government was relocated from the former City Hall to its’ current location in July of 2019 when a water leak made the building uninhabitable for city operations.
