On July 7, 2020, AT 5:51 p.m., Gibson County Deputy Zach Lienemann met with an individual who wanted to report a battery that had occurred in the 5500 block of North Old US Highway 41. Upon speaking with the individual they reported that they had been physically assaulted by 47-year-old Christine Hall of Patoka. At that point Deputy Lienemann with the assistance of Indiana State Trooper Vennocotter began an investigation into the incident. Once officers spoke with the victim and a witness they spoke with Ms. Hall. Upon speaking with Ms. Hall they placed her in custody and transported her to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Ms. Hall was charged with Battery in the Presence of a Child. She has since posted a $750 bond.
