Tow Mater will soon find a new home in the City Park. The old wrecker resembling a character from the Cars animated movie has been parked in front of a business on East 5th Street. But since the vehicle is inoperable and is parked on a snow route, Mayor Joe Judge said ordinances are being violated if Tow Mater was allowed to stay at his current location. Judge said he had reached an agreement with Tow Mater’s owner to move the vehicle to the City Park where children will still be able to pose for photos. The exact location of where Tow Mater will be placed hasn’t been decided.
A suggestion from Commissioner Justin Dulgar to remove the tank from the park failed to gain support from any other members of the council.
