On April 18, 2020, at 12:09 a.m. Owensville Deputy Town Marshal Jason Wright conducted a stop on a Silver 2005 Chrysler passenger car in the 400 block of East Walnut in Owensville. Upon speaking with the driver who identified himself as Juan Carlos Sovia Bega Officer Wright detected the odor of alcohol coming from the driver. At that point Gibson County Deputy Michael Rose assisted Officer Wright in performing a roadside DUI investigation. During that investigation Deputy Rose was able to determine that the driver had given a false name and was in fact 24-year-old Daniel Anotino Zetina. At the conclusion of his investigation Deputy Rose placed Mr. Zetina into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and False Informing. He remains in custody on a $650 bond.
