Kelli Storckman will be Wabash County next state’s attorney. In Tuesday’s primary election, Republican voters overwhelmingly nominated Storckman as she garnered 70% of the vote over Bill Easton. Storckman finished with 1,505 votes compared to 639 for Easton. Since there is no democratic candidate, Storckman will run unopposed in the November election and succeed Cassandra Goldman who chose not to seek another term. The other contested race saw Shaun Keepes cruise to the Republican nomination for coroner over challenger Greg Wilkinson….
Keepes finished with 1,710 votes while Wilkinson received 449 votes.
Voter turnout Tuesday in Wabash County stood at 36% with 81% of those being Republican voters.
