The second place Lady Aces golf team will be recognized at one of the city’s entrances after all. For years, teams and individuals were given a sign at the city’s entrances for various accomplishments. But, a change from the state’s department of transportation resulted in only state champions in athletic and academic teams or FFA section presidents being recognized with a sign under the population sign. But, Mayor Joe Judge now says a solution has been found for the issue…
The golf team will also be recognized with a sign at the golf course. Judge thanked the DOT and school district in solving the problem.
