On 2/22/20 Mt. Carmel Police arrested Joseph A. Orlando, age 45, of Austin, Texas and Laura Ramirez Becerra, age 47, of Del Valle, Texas for Possession of a Stolen License Plate following an incident in the 300 block of West 9th Street. During the incident the arresting officer discovered that both subjects had knowingly stolen a license plate from Colorado and attached it to their Buick. Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Wabash County Jail where they were charged and held pending a bond setting by a judge.
