The 2020 opening of the Mt. Carmel City Pool is still more than 3 months away, but Mayor Joe Judge says plans are already being made to improve the historic attraction….
Judge also said applications are now available at City Hall for summer jobs at this pool. Available positions include pool manager, lifeguards, concession workers, and cleaning. For those interested in being a lifeguard but aren’t certified, Judge said the city is working with Wabash Valley College to set up a certification class next month. But in order to get that done, Judge said those interested need to apply for the lifeguard positions now and let their intentions be known.
