On January 31, 2020, at 4:45 p.m. Gibson County Deputy Garrett Tuley was dispatched to a traffic stop that Deputy U.B. Smith had conducted after observing a White 2009 Chevy passenger car failing to maintain its lane of travel on US 41 near County Road 1025 South. During a roadside investigation Deputy Smith detected the odor of burnt Marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and requested back up since he was off duty. Upon his arrival Deputy Tuley conducted field sobriety tests and took over the investigation. Once his investigation was completed Deputy Tuley transported the driver 32-year-old Witney Majors of Henderson to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. He remains in custody on a $900 bond.
