From Wabash County Sheriff Derek Morgan: On 12.12.20 at 0228 hrs. the Wabash County Sheriff's Office responded to an address on E 870 Rd. reference a domestic battery. The caller advised all other persons in the residence were locked in a room and safe at the moment but were unaware of the whereabouts of the alleged aggressor. When the deputy arrived he spoke to the caller and other persons whom sought shelter within a locked room. After the investigation 41 year old Joshua Horrall of Mt. Carmel was taken into custody. Horrall and charged with Aggravated Domestic battery with strangulation along with resisting arrest. Today, Horrall made an appearance in Wabash County Circuit Court via Zoom, where he was advised of his charges and bond was set at $2,500 cash. Horrall later posted bond and was released from the Wabash County Jail.
