Ikemire’s comments came after he said he had several people question him asking why the property tax bills hadn’t been mailed yet this year.
For the county’s part, County clerk Janet Will said the tax statements are expected to be printed this week. A conversion to a new software program is the culprit for the lateness of the tax statements.
