On January 22, 2020, at 11:43 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of two persons who had entered the Huck’s Gas Station located at 78 E State Road 168 in Fort Branch. Deputies Bryce Jutzi and Loren Barchett were dispatched to the store and began an investigation. Upon reviewing video surveillance footage Deputy Jutzi was able to identify and locate the two suspects at a local manufacturing center and spoke with the individuals. At the conclusion of his investigation Deputy Jutzi placed 36 year old Jessica Desinord and 31 year old Steven Jackson both of Evansville into custody. Upon being transported to the Gibson County Jail both Desinord and Jackson were charged with Theft.
