On 12/30/19 Eric M. Sadler, age 19, of Mt. Carmel, and a juvenile male were arrested for Home Invasion following an incident at a residence in the 300 block of N Cherry Street. Officers were dispatched to the residence after a call reporting Sadler and the juvenile had unlawfully entered into the residence and battered one of the residents. The two subjects then fled the area after reportedly taking money from the victim. The two subjects were later located in the west alley of the 300 block of N Market. Sadler was taken into custody while the juvenile subject fled on foot. The juvenile was later located in the 300 block of Chestnut Street where he was taken into custody also. Sadler was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged and held pending a bond setting by a judge. The juvenile was taken to the Franklin County Detention Center.
