WHAT: Fatal Crash
WHERE: IL 33 1/2 mile south of Russellville (Lawrence County)
WHEN: 01/16/20, 5:54 PM
VEHICLES: UNIT 1 – White 1999 Buick Park Ave.
DRIVER: UNIT 1 – James C. Foreman, 64 of Lawrenceville (FATAL)
TRANSPORTS: UNIT 1 – James C. Foreman transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN
CHARGES: None
PRELIMINARY: Preliminary investigative details indicate that Unit 1 was traveling north on IL 33 1/2 mile south of Russellville. Unit 1 began to negotiate a left hand curve, ran off the right side of the roadway and overcorrected. Unit 1 then struck a tree with the rear of the vehicle. The driver was transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN where he was later pronounced deceased.
