At Tuesday’s Wabash County Commissioner meeting, Sheriff Derek Morgan announced two hirings within his department. First, he said Chase Cheadle of Browns had been hired as a deputy to alleviate overtime being worked by other deputies and in turn cut down on deputy fatigue from all of the OT. Morgan also said Erin Ledbetter had been hired as an administrative assistant for his office. Two new pickup’s for the sheriff’s department have arrived and are being readied for service according to Morgan.
