The Mt. Carmel High School FFA Chapter performed well in recent competitions.
The FFA Chapter could not be more proud of these extremely hard-working students that proudly are representing our town.
The Mt. Carmel FFA competed at the Section 23 Forestry and Horse Judging Contest on Tuesday, Sept. 10th. Forestry placed 2nd out of 12 teams with Coy Crull placing 1st overall! Gehrig J. placing 5th, and Peter K. placing 14th! Other team members were Courtney P., Gus Kolb, and Nevada D. The team will compete at State on Sept. 28th in Carbondale.
Horse Judging team WON the competition with Jazmine Tadder placing 1st overall with 3 other members placing in the top 10! Eva H. placed 5th, Lilly W. placed 7th, and Courtney P. placed 9th! Other team members were Coy C., Nevada D., Peter K., Kyra H., and Gehrig J.
