Traffic stop leads to arrest of Oakland City woman

On September 16, 2019, at 10:14 a.m. Gibson County Deputy Jennifer Loesch conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Broadway and Hart Street on a Black Dodge Journey for having an expired license plate. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Loesch identified the driver as 39 year old Jessica Myles of Oakland City. During a roadside investigation Deputy Loesch ran Ms. Myles through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and discovered that Ms. Myles was operating the vehicle while her drivers license status was suspended on a prior driving while suspended charge. At that point Deputy Loesch placed Ms. Myers into custody and transported her to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with Driving While Suspended/Prior. She has since posted a $650 bond.

Assisting Deputy Loesch in her investigation was Sergeant Bruce Vanoven.
