Mayor Joe Judge had a follow up on a concern by local resident
about boxes being burned at a West Side business.
The Mayor said business representatives have met with I.E.P.A.
and will choose one of two alternative means of disposing of the boxes.

Mayor Judge attended a Cannabis and County seminar in Springfield yesterday, one of two meetings upcoming concerning the new Recreational Marijuana Law in Illinois. Rob Dean also attended representing Wabash County Commissioners. Illinois Municipal League just released ordinances and interpretations concerning how the marijuana law will apply to and impact local communities.

Mt. Carmel Fire Department made 10 runs in the last couple of weeks.
Commissioner Rod Rodriguez said his department participated in safety meetings, continued with the mosquito spraying program, and provided stand by for events at Wabash County 4-H Fair.
