City to Install Water Fountain to Oak Street

Next Spring, those using the walking and jogging path along Oak Street will be able to stop for a water break. Mt. Carmel Water Commissioner Justin Dulgar announced at Monday’s City Council meeting that he is overseeing the installation of a drinking fountain near one of the benches along the Oak Street sidewalk near the elementary school. Dulgar said the fountain will cost approximately $4,000 and will be paid out of the water fund. It will also accommodate pets.
