On July 25, 2019, at 9:13 p.m. Gibson County Deputy Jennifer Loesch was alerted by citizens that a female appeared to be under the influence of drugs near the intersection of State and Stormont Street in Princeton. Upon arriving in the area Deputy Loesch located 35 year old Sabrina Johnson of Princeton and began a roadside investigation. During that brief encounter Deputy Loesch discovered that Ms. Johnson was in possession of Synthetic Marijuana as well as a hypodermic needle. At that point Deputy Loesch placed Ms. Johnson into custody and transported her to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Ms. Johnson was charged with Possession of a Synthetic Drug and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle. She remains in custody on a $750 bond.
Assisting Deputy Loesch in her investigation was Princeton Officers Lincoln Edwards and Ben Kiesel.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
