– If you like food, live music, board and yard games, touring a flower garden, and relaxation, you will enjoy the 1st Annual Garden Party being hosted as a Benefit for Small World Childcare Center of Wabash Valley College! The Garden Party will be held from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 4 (Rain Date August 11), at the home of Del and Carla Cadwalader, 20422 Wabash 20 Avenue, Mt. Carmel, IL (8 miles from WVC).
In addition to taking a tour of the lovely flower gardens, those attending will enjoy live music, board and yard games, and dining from the sandwich, fruit, veggies, and dessert bar, as well as spending your Sunday afternoon relaxing. Bring your own lawn chair, favorite garden hat, and wear comfortable shoes. As an added attraction to the afternoon, there will be a Silent Auction and a Prize for the Best Garden Hat!
Tickets are $20 for Adults and $5 for Children under 8 years of age. Advanced Tickets are recommended and are available at: WVC Main Hall, Mt. Carmel and Olney Rural King, and Small World Parents and Staff. Tickets will be on sale until August 3.
