POSEY COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a paving project for I-64 In Posey County.
Beginning on or around Tuesday, July 23, contractors will begin restricting I-64 from the Illinois State Line to the Poseyville exit. During this operations crews will mill and repave the 12 mile section of interstate. Lane closures will be up to the discretion of the contractor, but one 16-foot lane will remain open in either direction at all times.
Restrictions will be in place around the clock. Work is expected to last until the beginning of November depending upon weather conditions. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
