On 5/20/19 Mt. Carmel Police arrested Matthew D. Matlock, age 33, of Mt. Carmel, on an Effingham County Illinois Warrant for Failure to Appear on a Possession of a Controlled Substance charge. Matlock was a passenger in a vehicle stopped near the area of 9th & Cedar Street. Matlock was taken into custody and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was issued the warrant and held pending the posting of bond or extradition back to Effingham County.
