The state continues to do a good job in keeping up with their payments to Wabash County. At Monday’s county board meeting, treasurer Beverly McBride said her office has received the February income tax payment of nearly $37,000 and the January salary reimbursements for the state’s attorney, assessor, and public defender. The only bill outstanding from the state currently is the February salary reimbursement amounting to $14,545.
