As you clean up your yard this Spring, Mt. Carmel street department superintendent Dave Easter is asking residents to be considerate and not fill trash bags too full making them dangerous for workers to lift. Easter said workers have suffered back and other injuries in the past because bags were too heavy for the yard waste crews.
