Wabash County was lucky when storms literally blew through the Tri-State last Thursday. At this week’s County Commissioner meeting, WEMA Director Gerald Brooks said a house on E1000 Road had half of its’ roof taken off and Barney’s Prairie Church had some siding ripped away. Highway Engineer Dustin Bunting said his crews dealt with some trees on roads, but all things considered, officials said the county dodged a bullet in terms of wide-spread damage.
