02/15/2019-Mt. Carmel Police have arrested 37 year old Wendy M. McKendree of Mt. Carmel and charged her with one count of prostitution. Police were originally called to the 500 block of Chestnut Street to investigate an unwanted person complaint. During the course of the investigation it was reported that McKendree was at the residence to perform a sexual act for money. McKendree was transported to the Wabash County Jail and was held pending the posting of bond. McKendree was cited for possession of cannabis.
