CITY LEADERS DISCUSSED THE VILLAS OF HOLLY BROOK ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY AT MONDAY’S CITY COUNCIL MEETING.
MAYOR BILL HUDSON NOTED WORKERS HAVE MADE SOME PROGRESS ON THE 8.1 MILLION DOLLAR FACILITY ON WEST 9TH STREET, IN SPITE OF THE WEATHER. INSTALLATION OF WINDOWS IS COMPLETE. COMMISSIONER JOE JUDGE SAID HOLLY BROOK’S REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR, LINDA SCHNEIDER, RECENTLY WAS GUEST SPEAKER AT MT. CARMEL ROTARY . JUDGE SAID HOLLY BROOK FEATURES LOTS OF ACTIVITIES AND THEY TRY TO BUY LOCAL. HOLLY BROOK WILL PARTNER WITH THE CITY AND THE COMMUNITY. JUDGE SAID HE IS EXCITED ABOUT THE ECONOMIC IMPACT THE NEW BUSINESS WILL HAVE ON THE CITY OF MT. CARMEL. THE FACILITY IS SLATED TO OPEN THIS SUMMER.
