On December 4, 2019, at 4:48 p.m. Gibson County Deputy Zach Lienemann was dispatched to a single vehicle accident near the intersection of US 41 and County Road 100 West. Upon arriving in the area Deputy Lienemann located a White 2001 Jeep on its side on County Road 100 West. Upon speaking with the driver 46-year-old Trent Selby of rural Owensville Deputy Lienemann could detect the odor of alcohol coming from the driver’s breath. At that point Deputy Lienemann began a roadside investigation. At the conclusion of his investigation Deputy Lienemann placed Mr. Selby into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. He has since posted a $650 bond.
