The Mt Carmel Chapter NSDAR called to order December 17, 2019, by Regent Barbara Lant Easter.
The programs were on Women/Educational/History. At the home of Marcia Hudson Woodcock
guest were welcomed by the piano Christmas music By Marcia Hudson Woodcock. Prayer by
Chaplain Sara Steckler Caddell. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,
THE AMERICAN’S CREED and PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION. The singing of The STAR –Spangled Banner and Illinois by all in attendance. Members read the President’s General Message and Roll call was taken
by giving favorite thing about Christmas. Minutes were approved and reports of officers Chaplain and
Treasurers given. The reports of committees, including Constitution, Indian, Commemorative Events
and Women’s Issues. Conservation committee quiz given by Mary Kay Green Hurley. Report given by
Veterans Committee Chairman Mary Susan Wood message on new information that will be of great
help to are Veterans. Members course started December 11, 2019, well meet first Tuesday of January 2020,,
10AM at EUM. The Chapter elected delegates and alternates for State and National Conference. The Program
WOMEN’S SUFFRAGE given by Regent-Barbara Lant Easter. Thanks, to Hostesses Marcia Hudson Woodcock,

Historical/Educational, American History Essay Winners and Honor Good Citizen to be given awards,
Mt Carmel Schools, Albion Schools and Allendale should be proud of all the student that have written Essay.
