There are only two weekends left before Christmas and volunteers are still being sought for Wabash County’s bell ringing campaign. Kevin McGinnis, head of the Wabash County Ministerial Association, helps to organize the bell ringers and he says volunteers are stationed at Buy-Low, Fast Break Marathon, and Borowiak’s IGA. 100% of the money collected through the bell ringing campaign goes to help fund the Operation Share program…
According to McGinnis, several clubs and organizations and sports teams from the high school and college and the community have stepped forward to help. To volunteer for a shift of any duration, you can contact McGinnis at 240-6243. As for Operation Share, the Christmas toy distribution took place Tuesday at First Christian Church while the food distribution for Christmas dinner will be next Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church.
